Our Story

We started catering out of our little 40 seat restaurant in Westwood back in 2014 and in just 5 short years have built a pretty amazing business for ourselves. And we’ve had A LOT of fun doing so! 

Our business has grown over 100% each of the past 5 years; and we're looking forward to making 2019 another smashing success.  Our success is tied to the work we do for our clients.  From coordinating and menu planning with our Sales team, to providing all the necessary rental/outside vendor support, to working with flexible budgets, to one-on-one personalized tastings, to managing day-of event execution by our Operations and Kitchen teams.  We really take pride in all the little details that make events special.

At fundamental events, we marry our passion for food and hospitality with our commitment to expert catering and event production.  We assemble the freshest seasonal ingredients and present them with style and beauty for you and your guests to enjoy.  Our hospitality team of Captains, Servers, and Bartenders provide our clients with gracious, friendly, and professional service so you can relax and know we've got all the details covered!

Below is a recent event with Gensler, one of our amazing design-focused clients. They wanted 2 beautiful food stations for guests to graze and eat throughout the night. Seasonally appropriate for late Fall, we featured a wild mushroom pasta bar (6 different types) and a carving station with roasted turkey breast, sweet potato purree, cranberries, crispy onions, and fried sage.
